 Anonymous writes "BT have launched a new, free service so that the telephone number of the person calling appears on the phone (unfortunately only compatible phones can do this they are available to purchase everywhere and prices start at approx #20). To register simply visit www.BT.com/privacy and follow the on screen instructions. you do not have to talk to anyone and it will be active in a few days. You may still jump when the phone rings but at least you will know who is calling you! i find this service invaluable. "
